Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
- HCM causes the heart muscle to become abnormally thick and
causes blockages to the flow of blood in the heart and abnormal
heart rhythms - The goal of Athletic Focused Echo Pre-Participation Screening is
to possibly detect unknown Cardiovascular abnormalities such as
HCM in athletes therefore possibly lessening the chance of (SCD)
